Vaishnava Navagraha Temple Tour

Though many are aware of the nine Shiva temples dedicated to the Navagrahas, there are also nine Vaishnava Navagraha Kshetras that are worshipped to get relief from the Graha Doshas. All these are located in and around Kumbakonam and can be covered in 2 days. As much as it appeals for Vaishnavites who seek alternatives to Shiva shalams, these temples also attract tourists who love ancient Dravidian architecture, with many of the temples predating 15th century AD.
